Rambling will follow...
29 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
27 years old on Saturday.
Have I ever told you how amazing my husband is? Cause I really should have by now. He let me leave super early this morning so I could get in a minivan with some fabulous ladies and head down to San Antonio. Which means that he got to spend most of the day alone with our two lovely, never ornery daughters. He didn't even attempt to complain. Probably because he's a ninja.
While in San Antonio we went to the temple. It was just what I needed. The entire time I was in the temple I felt complete peace. There was no chaos in my mind. It was a great couple hours of feeling peace and thinking nothing.
On another note, today reminded me how much I like waking up early. We left at 6:15am so that meant a super early morning compared to my usual 8am wake up time. In my high school and college days, I would wake up that early daily so I could go to the gym and have some "me" time. In fact, I was so consistent in my working out that my high school drama nerd friends titled me "The most likely to become the next Richard Simmons." Which I guess looking back means that I must have had crazy hair and bad workout attire.... but anyway.... During those times in my life I didn't have kids or a husband, but I still took me time and released some endorphins daily.
Today I realized that I haven't had a gym membership since before my last marriage, and working out used to be a must-do every day to keep my sanity. Perhaps 2 marriages later and almost 3 kids later it's time I head back to the best drug-free anti-depressant. It's time to get back on the elliptical and pump some iron. Get ready everyone cause I'm about to whip out the red and white striped short shorts.
