Why am I writing all of these blog posts?
Well... they're about our journey to homeschooling. I'm writing these partially for myself, so I never forget why we're doing what we're doing. So those days when it gets hard and I want to send my kids off to school I remember the why. When you remember the "why" you can endure any "how".
I'm also writing these for many of you who have contacted me privately asking for more information... many of you expressing your own concern with your children's schooling. I've been surprised at the number of parents I've talked to who feel stressed/concerned/worried about their children's schooling. Many saying "I don't know what to do" or "I've thought about homeschooling."
I'm writing these because I've had to leave out all emotion when I write formal complaints to the district. But it's emotion that I need to deal with and express and share with those who want to know and need to know.
